FEMA and the Texas General Land Office (GLO) are administering Direct Housing and Emergency Sheltering Solutions Programs for eligible homeowners affected by Harvey.

Disaster Assistance for Limited Home Repair (DALHR)

Applicants may be eligible for DALHR if they are pre-disaster home owners whose residence has undergone a FEMA-issued inspection with a FEMA verified loss of $17,000. More info.

Partial Repair and Essential Power for Sheltering (PREPS)

Applicants may be eligible for PREPS if they are pre-disaster home owners whose primary residence has already undergone a FEMA-issued inspection with a FEMA verified loss of less than $17,000 and less than 18 inches of water in the home. More info.

Continued Rental Assistance

Hurricane Harvey survivors who have received temporary housing assistance from FEMA, yet still have a continuing need for that assistance, can receive up to 18 months of Continued Rental Assistance, plus the security deposit, allowing for time to make progress toward finding long-term solutions.
